About Camilla
Supporting families in Hamilton-Wentoworth, Halton and Peel 

Camilla is a Registered Nurse, RN, BHSc(N), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Childbirth Educator (CCCE) and mother of twins born prematurely at 33 weeks gestation.   Working with normal & complex lactation issues she specializes in multiples, preemies, dysfunctional suck,swallow,breathe issues, Ankyloglossia, commonly known as tongue tie, low milk supply/oversupply, clients with previous breast augmentation, reduction surgeries wanting to breastfeed, clients with complex hormonal issues (thyroid, PCOS, history of infertility).    She has worked extensively providing breastfeeding support as a public health nurse, community health nurse for the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program, in numerous community breastfeeding drop in clinics and in her private breastfeeding consulting practice.   She was the past volunteer prenatal coordinator/educator for the Multiple Births Families Association of Ottawa-Gatineau when living in Ottawa. She now volunteers her time providing breastfeeding education and support at the Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK), Burlington Resource Centre.

 About Ilana

Supporting families in Thornhill, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Maple, Markham and Richmond Hill

Ilana, RN (Registered Nurse), BScN, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) is a founder and clinical director of "Health for Baby - Breastfeeding, Childbirth & Newborn Care Consulting" assisting normal and complex lactation patients: preterm infants, multiples, sick infants and relactation/inducted lactation. Ilana provides educational sessions to healthcare professionals and classes to new and prospective parents. She also works part time as a Lactation Coordinator at Mount Sinai Hospital. Ilana is a Vice-President of Ontario Lactation Consultants Association. In the past Ilana worked as a Fertility Clinic Coordinator at a Centre for Reproductive Medicine and as a Public Health RN, Lactation & Newborn Care Consultant at a Mother-Baby Well-Being Clinic, specializing in pregnancy, lactation, newborn care, developmental milestones & safety of babies and kids up to 5 years old. Ilana is an author of numerous reviews for the Journal of Human Lactation, Inside Tracks translations for International Lactation Consultant Association and breastfeeding education articles for ethnic media.



About Eva

Eva Rutherford, BScN, RN, IBCLC  is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Nursing. She is registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. 

 She has worked with families, mothers and babies for more than 20 years.  Her experiences in hospital nursing include Labour and Delivery, Special Care Nursery and Postpartum.  Currently she works with out-patients at Mount Sinai Hospital in the Postnatal Ambulatory Clinic, providing care to mothers and babies following birth, with a particular focus on breastfeeding assessment and consultation for complex problems.  She also teaches childbirth and parenting classes to expectant families. She has 4 children and lives with her partner in downtown Toronto.

Eva’s focus of nursing and lactation care is to empower, educate and provide tools to parents to make informed decisions to identify and achieve their own health goals.  Her practice is firmly based on the most current research, however, personal experience and anecdotal evidence also inform her practice.

Breastfeeding is a team sport incorporating patience, persistence and practice.


About Michelle

Michelle Branco, IBCLC, is a board-certified lactation consultant providing services to women facing a variety of breastfeeding challenges. As an IBCLC, she works collaboratively with the family’s health care team to ensure consistency and continuity of care. Fostering women’s natural mothering instincts, Michelle helps mothers reach their breastfeeding goals with evidence-based information and caring support of the whole family unit.

Michelle speaks on a range of breastfeeding topics and writes the monthly column, “Breastfed Matters” for Natural Child Magazine. Since 2007, she has served the community as a volunteer leader with La Leche League Canada. She has a special research interest in the experience of mothers who have suffered trauma (ie: difficult birth, NICU).

Michelle and her husband have two children, both breastfed.
Appointments are available days, evenings and weekends.
