Why Choose a Precious Moments Babeez Sleep Consultants over another?
Sleep Trainers are popping up everywhere...be careful! Its important to understand that a traditional doula is not trained to offer Sleep Training Support to families. Although some may have basic sleep skills, this does not qualify them to offer consultations on Sleep Nurturing or Slleep Training.
In Debbie's case, not only does she pull her experiences as a mother, a postpartum doula and Happiest Baby on the Block instructor but she is also trained and certified as an Advanced Sleep Consultant through NCSA. Debbie has used this knowledge and experience to create the Precious Moments Babeez Sleep Plan. Her trainings and certifications help keep her in line with protocols and regulations set forth by associations like the WHO and SIDS. The key is that the NCSA has its own board of directors. It is not just one person who has approved Debbie as a sleep consultant but an entire board. In fact, Debbie is the new Canadian trainer for the NCSA which means that any new NSC will have to take the course through her then submit certification requirements to the board to become certified. This is important because ANYONE can create a sleep plan and certification process that does not follow the same requirements as a board of directors would. You must ask if it is a certified process through a board of directors.

Certified Advanced Sleep Consultant
Debbie is the Precious Moments Senior Baby Parenting Coach and Certified Advanced Infant Sleep Consultant. With thousands of hours working with babies and her extensive training (Happiest Baby Instructor, SIDS Certification, Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Advanced Sleep Consultant), she has helped hundreds of families overcome baby sleep issues. From nap troubles to overnight wakings every hour, she has helped families across the nation achieve restful sleep for both babies and parents!

Intermediate Sleep Consultant
Inspired by her birth experience, Sabrina has become a Labour & Postpartum Doula and training towards certification as a Sleep Consultant. Sabrina is kind, gentle and an inspiration for a healthy happy family life. She is a new mother to a happy baby boy and can attest 1st hand to the Precious Moments Babeez Sleep Plan. She had many obstacles to overcome with breastfeeding but with lots of support she was successful and now wants to pay it forward and be there to support families with their new life adventure. She is also currently a BLS Paramedic (since 2002) and also has a photography diploma and experience with Birth Photography.
Toddler Sleep Consultant
Emma has been working as an Early Childhood Educator for the last 20 years. Teaching children 12 months to Grade 6 has been a privilegde for Emma and an absolute joy. Emma works at a Private School/Daycare in Mississauga which is owned and operated by her and her mother since 1990. As a professional who has worked with young children all her life, one of the skills she has been able to pass onto other parents is how to properly enforce sleep habits for toddlers over 18 months.
Emma is thrilled to be working along side Debbie and her team and working towards her Sleep Consultant Certification. She looks forward to helping many families with toddlers through Precious Moments Babeez.
