My experience with Precious Moments Babeez (PMB) was nothing short of wonderful!
We initially contacted PMB for postpartum night support with our newborn as he had some sleeping/colic/gas issues that we felt over our heads with. We loved the doula Angelina we ended up working with for 6 weeks, she became a part of our family and our son loved her. When I discovered we needed lactation support, PMB was able to support us further through one of their staff who is a Registered Practical Nurse and IBCLC's Daphne, it was so helpful to have everyone working together to help us put a program together. In addition it was because of the support from PMB that it was recognized that I was struggling with Postpartum Depression and needed help. I was able to start getting the help I needed and I felt supported.
PMB made such a difference in the first 3 months of our son's life and made it possible for us to really *enjoy* that time with him and set him up with good habits for the coming months.
When it was time to sleep train our son at 5.5 months, there was no question in my mind the PMB was the resource for us. Debbie is compassionate, highly knowledgable and really validated that we were doing the right thing for our family. Within the space of two days our son went from waking multiple times per night to sleeping 10+ hours each night without waking and napping consistently. Mom and Dad are refreshed and delighted by this change and feel armed with the tools to stay on track for the foreseeable future!

Jackie was our night doula for 3 months for our twin boys from May-July 2012. When we first
interviewed Jackie we knew she would be a great caregiver. Having 7 children herself, including a set of twins, plus her numerous twin clients, we knew she could handle anything, and she
did. From the first day she arrived, she helped clueless and overwhelmed first-time parents figure out how to take care of 2 infants. Jackie was always on time, in fact she was early most days, and the first thing she did was ask how the boys did during the day. She genuinely cared about their we ll-being.
Jackie did an amazing job managing the twins at night - not once did my husband or I need to get up and help her. She always managed to take care of both of them at once, feeding, changing and soothing them back to sleep with little to no crying. She was also very quiet at night - we never heard her going up and down the stairs or cleaning up in the kitchen. This allowed us to get a good night's sleep, secure in the knowledge that our boys were in excellent hands. The nights that we were on our own, we sorely missed Jackie. Sunday nights Jackie would pull up and find us sitting on the front steps of the house, anxiously awaiting her arrival!
Being part of Precious Moments Babeez, Jackie always checked in with Debbie to keep her informed of progress and they both taught the boys good sleep habits from birth. They amazingly had my boys sleeping through the night in 12 weeks.

When I found out I was having twins after 5 years of trying for a family you would think I would be excited, which I was, but I was also very scared of the daunting task of having two newborns at once. A client of mine told me about Precious Moments Babeez and I contacted them to set up doula services. The doula I was given was wonderful and was a huge help to our
family. The problem was that I was not sleeping at night and although I had great help during the day, I was unable to rest, which led to some very emotionally trying days and nights. I again contacted Precious Moments Babeez and was given Natasa as a doula. At first I felt
a little awkward with someone coming in and taking care of my babies at night while I slept. However this feeling lasted only seconds because when I met Natasa I immediately felt confident and safe in my decision. Natasa was absolutely wonderful. What a bright and caring personality mixed in with tons of knowledge on caring for babies! I truly felt that Natasa

Although we are not first time parents, when we learned we were having twins we knew there was a new and challenging road ahead of us and we would need a good support system to get through it successfully. There were so many factors to consider in this changed dynamic to
our home; With the twins coming and a three year old son at home as well, we wanted to be as prepared as possible for the hard times that come with newborns, let alone two newborns and ensure our family remained happy and healthy. We reached out to Debbie at Precious Moments to help us find a qualified night nurse to assist us with managing our new family, helping me recover from a c-section and be able to breast feed both babies. We needed an expert to guide
us through all of this, help us get scheduled and of course have our babies sleeping through the night and Daphne was the perfect fit!
Daphne patiently taught us how to feed the babies and help with gas, bathing and sleep routines, swaddling, moving them to cribs and sleeping techniques and helped us get scheduled. Over the course of the following weeks, Daphne stayed overnight tending to our twins while we were able to sleep and rest, a significant factor in my rapid recovery from a C-Section. There was even a time when one of our twins fell ill and having a registered nurse take a look at her, help us treat her and nurse her back to good health was the biggest relief. Daphne is a wonderful and warm baby nurse whom we immediately felt comfortable entrusting the care of our babies. From arriving on time, to washing her hands prior to touching our children, to her detailed notes of events throughout the night, Daphne was amazing.
When meeting Daphne we were immediately comforted by her knowledge and passion for babies and children which were very evident. She was engaging, warm, enthusiastic and very prepared to deal with the situations that presented themselves and happy to share her experience and technics. Her professionalism and personality made her natural fit with our
family.
As promised, both our twins are now on an eating and sleeping schedule that works for them and they are very happy 3.5 month old babies. Their napping and eating schedule is consistent and works for them, my wife and I. In short, we could not have wished for a better outcome. We are equally well rested and able to enjoy Mommy and Daddy time each evening and Daphne’s presence helped us ensure we are able to care for our 3 year old and ensure his adjustment and transition was smooth.
I highly recommend hiring Daphne as a newborn/newborn’s care specialist and would recommend her to anyone that asks. You should feel relaxed and sleep through the night knowing that your baby or babies are being watched, monitored and cared for in a tender, loving and highly professional manner.
