(https://d2oovpv43hgkeu.cloudfront.net/Public-Ed-Comm-Outreach/ChiropracticandPregnancyV1.pdf) In a study of 170 Canadian women with pregnancy-related back pain, 72% reported back pain during labour. However, the women who received chiropractic care, reported less pain during both pregnancy and labour. (https://d2oovpv43hgkeu.cloudfront.net/Public-Ed-Comm-Outreach/ChiropracticandPregnancyV1.pdf) One study showed that first time mothers under regular chiropractic care averaged a 24% shorter labour time, while mothers who had previously given birth experienced a 39% reduction in the average labour time compared to those not receiving regular chiropractic care.
