    • PMB allows you to run your own business simultaneously while being a part of our team. You can still build your own business while working for Precious Moments clients.
    • PMB has dedicated time and funding to advertising and promoting the company and brand.
    • PMB will take care of invoicing clients and collecting payment so you don’t have to worry about managing business and providing support to your clients, which sometimes can be awkward. Please keep in mind this is only for clients booked through Precious Moments, as your own clients remain your own clients and are part of your own business.
    • PMB is an established business with professionals, hospitals, clinics, and many clients and referrals. We have clients looking for support weekly.
    • Through our PMB Mentorship program, we can assist you in obtaining more experience and guide you in your certification process.

Perinatal Support Worker (PNSW) Requirements

  • Be trained by www.pnsw.org (or be willing to take the training) and work towards completion.
  • Knowledgeable in pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum and infant care
  • Reliable & responsible
  • Comfortable working within PMD’s Values Statement (You may view our Values and Vision Statement.)

The successful candidate will have:

  • Completed or working towards completion of the PNSW program AND have up-to-date liability insurance, police check, and CPR.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a cell phone
  • Access to a computer and email account
  • Additional training in breastfeeding is an asset

Nurse (RN, RPN) Requirements

  • In good standing with CNO and up-to-date liability insurance, police check, and CPR.
  • Healthy working knowledge of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and infant care or willingness to take our internal training.
  • Knowledgeable about maternal postpartum adjustments and infant care and development.
  • Experience as a night nanny or baby nurse would be an asset (working with multiples would be an asset)
  • Reliable & responsible
  • Comfortable working within PMD’s Values Statement (You may view our Values Statement.)

  • Access to a computer and email account
  • Additional training in breastfeeding is an asset
